Customizing Your Android Phone

Today I'm going to show you how to customize your android phone. So basically I like android because it's so customizable. You can install different launchers, themes, and different widgets.

Let's start with launchers. In Google Play (former Market), there is lots of different launchers. I'm going to show you my top 5 Recommended launchers.

1. Go Launcher EX (Free)
Go Launcher EX is one of the most popular launchers in Google Play. I love it because it's so customizable. Go Launcher EX has so many widgets as GO Locker, GO TaskManager, GO Calendar, GO Clock etc. In Google Play there is hundreds of themes for GO Launcher and for GO Widgets as well.

2. SPB Shell 3D ( about $10 in Google Play)
This is awesome! Turn you android experience into 3D! It's fast and stable. It has many homescreens ready and they are useful and make easier to use your phone. I recommend to buy it. I promise it's not waste of money.

3. LauncherPro (Free, except LauncherPro Plus unlock key.)
I like LauncherPro because it's simple, fast and light launcher. It has own widgets but they are only available if you buy LauncherPro Plus Unlock key. There is different themes for the widgets in Google Play. It's free so try it, you have nothing to lose. And it has cool 3D app drawer :)

4. Holo Launcher (Free, except Holo Launcher Plus)
Get Android 4.0 feeling to your android now. It's free and fast. I like Holo Launcher because it's really simple. It doesn't require any cool themes or anything. It's perfect as the way it is. Try that too. Again it's free so you don't have anything to lose.

5. ADW Launcher EX (About $3 in Google Play)
OMG It's not free?! Don't worry there is free version available called ADW Launcher. So if you don't want to buy anything you can download free version. So basically I like ADW Launcher because it has many themes, it has different options to customize it example different app drawers.

Okay. So now have some information about different launchers. Let's get into different Lockscreens. Again I'm going to show you my top 3 Recommended lockscreens.

1. WidgetLocker (Not free)
Okay so WidgetLocker is awesome! As the name says you can add different widgets to your lockscreen. It has different lockscreen styles example Iphone, Honeycomb, ICS and many more. You can also download more theme from XDA and WidgetLocker website.

2. GO Locker (Free)
This is only available if you have GO Launcher EX installed. This is must have app if you have GO Launcher EX Installed. For this lockscreen there is sooo many themes that it's hard to choose. It's very stable and it doesn't have high battery usage. I never had any problem with this lockcreen. Give it a try.

3. MagicLocker (Free)
This again basic lockscreen app and it doesn't require any big introduction. So it has many many themes in Google Play and you can modify your lockscreen by enabling or disabling clock or date but otherwise it's very simple.

Now you know some cool lockcreens and next step is wigets. This time I'm not going to show my top 5 and I just tell you some cool widgets I know. Some of these are free and some aren't. Some coolest widgets are: HD Widgets (Just some clock widgets etc.), Beautiful Widgets (Basically clock/weather widget), Weather (So you can see weather). I like all those and there is many more but I'm not going to introduce you those.

Now when we are close to end I'm going to tell you about system themes. Basically system themes comes with custom roms, but you can download them from internet. In Google Play there is themes for CM9 and CM7. But you can dowload themes from internet and they are usually .ZIP files so you need to flash them via CWM.
