In this Post I'm gonna teach you how to Root Samsung Galaxy Prevail..
So Here We Go...
Installing CWM with Odin
1) Download and Unzip CWM Package From Here.
2) Download this Stick.zip from Here, and Copy this File to your SD card.
3) Install the Samsung USB drivers ( If you Don't Have them) from Here.
4) Now We have to put the phone into Downloading Mode. This can be done by Holding Volume Down button, Camera button, and Power button until the Yellow Downloading Message appears. (This should be done by keeping the phone in switched off mode)
5) Plug Your Phone into your Computer's USB port.
6) Open Odin on your Computer, You should see a yellow box with com number.
7) Select SPHM820.ops in the OPS Box.
8) Put a check in One Package.
9) Select the CWM Package in the One Package Box.
10) Click Start.
11) When the Odin Shows Reset And the Phone reboots Hold Volume Up Button, and Power Button until you are in CWM.
(Note: You have to do this quickly before the phone boots, if the phone boots up all the way, Start back at Step 4)
You need not wait for Odin to show Pass, that doesn't work.
12) In CWM, Go into install the Zip from SD card. Select Choose Zip from SD card (Use Volume Keys to Scroll Between options and Home Button to Select.)
13) Select Stick.zip.
14) Select Yes - Install stick.zip.
15) After Installing it, Press Back button.
16) Select Reboot System Now.
Now, Your Samsung Galaxy Prevail is Rooted Successfully :)
4) Now We have to put the phone into Downloading Mode. This can be done by Holding Volume Down button, Camera button, and Power button until the Yellow Downloading Message appears. (This should be done by keeping the phone in switched off mode)

6) Open Odin on your Computer, You should see a yellow box with com number.

8) Put a check in One Package.
9) Select the CWM Package in the One Package Box.
10) Click Start.
11) When the Odin Shows Reset And the Phone reboots Hold Volume Up Button, and Power Button until you are in CWM.

Installing CWM Update
1) Download the SPH package From Here.
2) Copy it to your SD card.
3) Now , By keeping the Phone in Switched off mode, Put the phone into CWM Recovery Mode by holding Volume Up button, and Power Button until you are in the CWM Recovery Menu.
4) In CWM Recovery Menu, Select Install Zip from SD card.
5) Select Choose Zip from SD card.
6) Select the SPH Package.
7) Select Yes - Install SPH Package.
8) After Installing it, Press Back Button.
9) Select Reboot System Now.
Installing Galaxy Prevail Rom
1) Download the ROM Zip file from Here.
2) Copy the Zip file to your SD card.
3) Now , By keeping the Phone in Switched off mode, Put the phone into CWM Recovery Mode by holding Volume Up button, and Power Button until you are in the CWM Recovery Menu.
4) Select Choose Zip from SD card.
5) Select the Galaxy Prevail ROM Package.
6) Select Yes - Install ROM Package.
7) After Installing it, Press Back Button.
8) Select Reboot System Now.
