Playing Windows Compatible Games On Mac

In this Post, I'll Show you how to Play Windows Compatible Games on Mac Computer.


Step 1: Download Cider From Here and Save it in your Desktop.

Step 2: Now Un-Zip the Files. You will see an Icon like this.

Step 3: Now Right Click on the Cider Application and Select "Show Package Contents".

Step 4: A New Window will Pop up with a number of files on it. In this, Click on "Contents" Folder.

Step 5: Another window with a set of files will get opened up and in this, Click on "Resources" Folder.

Step 6: Now Click on "Transgaming" Folder.

Step 7: Now Double-Click on "c_drive" Folder.

Step 8: Create a New Folder in the "c_drive" and Name it "(The Name Of the Game you are gonna Port)".

Step 9: Copy the Game Files into your Newly Created Game Folder inside your "c_drive".


Step 10: Now Go to initial Cider View Package Folder and Double-Click on "Contents" Folder. 


Step 11: Now you will see a file Named "Info.plist". Click on it.

It will usually opens in XCode if you have it.


dialog box like the one seen below will open up.

Step 12: Now you have to Modify the Following Values seen below.

In the "CedegaGameDir", Type : c:\"Name of the Games Folder you created" 
And 
In the "CedegaGameName", Type : c:\"Name of the Games Folder you created"\"Game Name".exe .

Step 13: Close the Info.plist file.

Run Cider.app and You can play the Game.
